The HN White Co. made King, Cleveland, and American Standard Clarinets. Among early U.S. metal clarinet makers, HN White was renowned for quality and workmanship. This interesting instrument #G83 appears to have been made around 1919 by the Cleveland Band Instrument Company which was owned by H.N. White. It features a silver-plated body and bright silver-plated keys. We overhauled it in our shop with new double-skin pads and corks. No dents. The mechanism is tight. It comes with its original case and mouthpiece. These play nicely and are a bargain. $450 plus $25 shipping in the Continental U.S.. Please see the photographs.

Please note:
As professional repair technicians, our labor to completely overhaul a clarinet is approximately $250-$300. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either before you play it or shortly thereafter. We don’t cut corners with cheaper supplies or patchwork. When you compare our quality, you will understand why we don’t accept lower “make offers” on our instruments.
