The date of this coin is NOT visible, however, we can be certain of the date due to the large die break on the reverse, running through the last 0 in 100 and going between the M and E in AMERICA. This crack is unique to certain 1798 large cents, known as the Sheldon 186 variety. It has been cleaned at some point and has a dark streak on the front from having tape over it at some point (all tape residue is gone). Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have.
