Adorable set of vintage ceramic whale bookends made by UCTCI of Japan from the 1970's. Bookends are each half of a white whale on a light blue base. There is a small penguin on each half. Original foil label on the bottom. Each bookend measures approximately 5-1/4" tall x 3-1/2" wide x 4-1/8" deep. They are in excellent condition and would make a unique gift for any new parents.

Grommet can be removed from underside and filled with sand to make bookends heavier.
