Reconnaissance of Catalina Harbor:
and the anchorage on the N.E. side of the island,
California/U.S.Coast Survey ; by the hydrographic party under
the command of Lieut. James Alden, U.S.N. Assistant; topography and view by
W.B. McMurtrie.

Very good condition with some mild toning and some slight
wrinkling along the fold and near the fold transition. Recent hand-coloring.

Measures approx. 14.75" x 10.5" to the neatline and 19" x 12" overall.

Interesting to note that it looks like the engraving of the harbor at the
bottom appears reversed with Cat Head and Mt. Torquemada on the east side
of the  entrance instead of the west.
