IWC Portuguese 7-Day Steel IW500114 IW5001-14

We’re big fans of the Portugieser line here at Watch Vault, having sold many over the years, and the one featured here is one of our absolute favourites.

A mainstay in the line up for many years, this 7-Day version of the Portuguese features a gorgeous art-deco case measuring in at 42.3mm. The silver dial features applied Arabic numerals, date register at 6, with small seconds and power reserve indicators balancing the dial perfectly. It’s powered by the fantastic 51011 self-winding in-house movement, free-sprung balance, hacking seconds and features a monstrous 7 day power reserve.

This particular piece presents in TZ Good condition. Has just returned from service by IWC in which the case was refinished. Presents beautifully. It's graded as 'Good' as you can still see the remnants of a few small dings. Please see images for full condition details.

It's mounted to an IWC 'gator strap with IWC deployant. Strap shows some wear, but very serviceable. Deployant was also refinished, and shows some slightly deeper scratches still present.

As mentioned above, has just had a full overhaul at a cost of $1800 and is under service warranty until May 1st 2025.

Comes with an IWC service case, IWC service paperwork, Watch Vault Travel Pod and Watch Vault cleaning cloth.
