On offer: an original (i.e. not a later reproduction) folding map Ordnance Survey Map at a scale of 6 miles = 1 inch.  A map centred around Gilbertstone and covers the areas of Yardley, Sheldon, Wells Green and Acocks Green.
  

DATE PRINTED: 1887, dated on the map.

SIZE: The printed area is approximately 47 x 32 cm (18.5 x 12.5 inches).  Scale of 1 inch to 6 miles.

PROVENANCE: The most comprehensive, topographic mapping covering all of England and Wales from the 1840s to the 1950s. Two editions for all areas, and then regular updates in the 20th century for urban or rapidly changing areas.  

TYPE: Antique lithograph printed on paper.

VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank. 

CONDITION: Very good. Please check the scan for any blemishes prior to making your purchase. Virtually all antiquarian paper subject to some normal aging due to use and time which is not significant unless otherwise stated. I offer a no questions asked return policy.
