A Victorian turned carved desk thermometer in the form of a tower made of bovine bone

This is Victorian and I believe English , if you see the last photo a similar one sold at Christie’s auctions in 2007

It measures approximately seven inches high

The base unscrews as shown in photos

The glass is intact and the writing numbers clear , there maybe the tiniest nip off the top, which I hadn’t noticed until taking photos which highlighted this but you can’t really notice it with the naked eye, there is a little bit missing around the base as shown

Overall a very unusual piece
