The perfect option for extreme street driving and heavy drag strip use on heavily modified street and race engines making more torque than the Stage 3 can support. The Stage 3+ clutch kit offers good daily drivability and better manageability than the Stage 3, with even better wear characteristics, it is the best single disc clutch made by SPEC for high powered street driven vehicles. The kit comes with a high clamp pressure plate, full-faced carbon metallic clutch disc with high torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearings and install tool.

SPEC's Lightweight Option can be added to many SPEC clutches. The lightweight version reduces the weight of the pressure plate by about 20% by drilling holes in the pressure plate, but not effecting the strength or durability of the pressure plate. This will increase rwhp by decreasing the rotating mass of your driveline, allowing power to transfer to the wheels more efficiently.

Billet Aluminum Pressure Plate Option - Additional $259 in eBay Store
SPEC's Billet Aluminum Pressure Plate Option can be added to almost any clutch. This version reduces the weight of the pressure plate by about 40%. This will increase rwhp by significantly decreasing the rotating mass of your driveline, allowing power to transfer to the wheels much more efficiently.

We also have SFI legal billet steel or SFI legal aluminum flywheels to go with your clutch kit, just checkout our eBay store. The aluminum flywheel also decreases rotating mass, adding up to an additional 10 rwhp!

Clutch Install Info
Unless using a new flywheel provided by SPEC, the existing unit must be resurfaced prior to installation of the clutch product to ensure integrity of friction surface. Owner must also break in the new high performance clutch for a minimum of 500 miles, primarily city and/or stop-and-go driving, before full throttle engagement, drag launching or power shifting. Failure to properly install and break in your clutch will create chatter and slipping, plus it will void the manufacturer's warranty. Unless otherwise instructed by written notice from SPEC, follow manufacturers instructions when installing clutch and flywheel products. SPEC recommends that all bolts be inspected before re-installation, and any bolts that have been removed and re-torqued multiple times should be replaced.
