New Hejnar Photo Manfrotto 405 a conversion set. This combination of plate and clamp (model F63) will let you use Manfrotto geared head with any arca swiss equipment. Manfrotto gear head is more precise than ball head and preferred by many photographers. Many architectural and interior photographers prefer geared 3-axis tripod heads rather than ball heads because they can make precision adjustments to each axis. Two popular heads are Manfrotto 405 and 410 which each use Manfrotto QR plate. Arca-swiss plate fans can now bypass this. Clamp can be disconnected from plate and use independent on other equipment if needed. If you prefer, a clamp can be positioned in relation to the adapter plate in 90-degree increments to make it convenient for everybody, or what are you used to. An adapter plate is attached to Manfrotto geared head in two simple steps.
1) removing lock down level with provided 3mm hex key.
2) Connect plate to geared head using one 1/4-20 screw and one 10-32 screw.

- Two set of outside holes are taped 1/4-20 and 45mm or 30 mm apart from each other.
- The clamp includes two safety stop relief grooves. This prevents free fall when the clamp is not fully closed, and your plate has safety stops
- Clamp knob is captive. Knob stops at maximum opening — cannot be lost in the field.
- Clamp knob is made from one piece. No spacers or bushing between knob and clamp itself. No room for dust, sand etc to enter inside.
