Entwistle 'X 90' single coil pickup

This is a Entwistle 'X 90' single coil pickup, either for the bridge or neck position.
The X90 single coil has a flat and wide bobbin, uses ceramic magnetics and is wound to a DCR of 8K to produce the classic vintage tone that preceded the introduction of the humbucker in 1957. The nickel pole pieces are adjustable and the cream cover completes the vintage look and feel of these pickups. String pitch at the neck position is 48mm and bridge 50mm.
The pickup is unboxed and mounting screws are not provided.

His CV includes heading up Hohner’s UK based Custom Shop where he designed models including the JT60, Blonde, Black Widow and Revelation. More recently he has designed guitars for Alden and Tanglewood and his electronic circuit wizardry is being incorporated into selected Burns models.
