Strong, auto-locking, gated, hooks for elastic shock cord from 8 to 10mm diameter. Very easy to assemble. No tools needed. Just thread the cord through and pull it into place. Very secure in use, but easily re-positioned on the cord. Removable and re-useable.

Make your own adjustable luggage straps / bungee straps and get the exact length you need. These are very strong hooks which are extremely easy to use. The hooks feature a chunky plastic gate that clips over the tip of the hook to make it completely secure in use. Buy the length of shock cord you need (see my other items), get the hooks, and make up the strap to the length that you want to fit your trailer, boat, pick-up etc. The all-plastic design produces a corrosion free assembly ideal for outside, automotive and marine use.

Fitting Advice
Just thread the cord up through the hook base, pull it around the back of the hook to engage with the top of the tapered slot and then feed the end back down through the base. Repeat the procedure whenever you want to re-position the hook on the cord. For best results we recommend that you work with a clean-cut cord end. Wrap the cord in a thin tape (i.e. sellotape) and cut through using a sharp (Stanley-type) knife or heat-seal the cord end.
