These are made exactly like the original floats and in the original tooling.

The design of the float has not been the cause of flooding problems in Stromberg carburetors as some have suggested.  Putting in a larger or more buoyant float is just a patch for the problem.  The problem lies in the relationship of the float arm and needle and seat. Some where along the line the dimensions for replacement needles and seats have gotten out of whack and the needles are not going far enough into the carbs for the float lever to contact them at the correct angle.  The cure for this is to use Stromberg Ltd. S-Jet fuel inlet valve(needle&seat). Besides being a better design they have the correct dimensions.
