WARNING:  This style's leg hem length is designed to be worn ABOVE THE BOOT  the leg lengths are short by design- and unless you have very short legs - do NOT expect them to reach anywhere near your ankles.. For average length adults, the hem lands on your shins above a typical boot.      Specific size information with measurements can be found below.

The size tags will always say SHORT/REGULAR   as there is one length for regular people under 6' tall  (i.e if you are short or regular length).       So if you purchase the medium for example-  the tag says MEDIUM / SHORT/REGULAR   the first part of the label refers to the girth, the 2nd part is the length.   This is the way the military designed them.      There are also LONG lengths which have longer lengths - but we do not have the long model in stock.  A long medium would say MEDIUM /LONG TALL      there is no MEDIUM /SHORT and there is no MEDIUM/REGULAR   the military spec'd this with two lengths -   so the regular size is called SHORT/REGULAR

If you want a longer leg, you should buy a listed LONG model- and if we don't have any in stock you may be able to find the long length model from other sellers.

The regular length overalls are labelled Short/Regular- meaning the military made them for anyone shorter than 71" tall on average.    The hem on these are cut/designed to ride above the boot a recruit typically wears - not ankle length, so if you are close to 71" tall- keep in mind they won't reach your ankles unless you buy a long length model.

    Optimum height of person 71 inches or shorter

These overalls were originally designed by Polartec and used by members of the U.S. Military, including those serving in the Marines, the Special Forces, the Army and the Air Force. These overalls serve as a singular component of the Second Generation Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (2G ECWCS), which is designed to offer protection from extreme environments to U.S. soldiers. Because we cannot verify that these overalls are unissued, we have to assume that they are used even though many of them appear to be brand new. As such, all overalls are in excellent condition and are free from the typical rips, tears, stains and scents that are characteristic of previously issued military surplus. In other words, these overalls are in prime condition and ready to extend their service. Those looking for a warm pair of overalls to fight subzero temperatures will find our Polartec military fleece overalls an excellent option.

Polartec military fleece overalls are constructed from polar fleece, a synthetic fiber originally developed by Maiden Mills Industries, Inc. (now Polartec) as a lightweight alternative to wool. Like wool, polar fleece is hydrophobic, meaning it will not absorb moisture. Polar fleece, however, retains its properties of insulation even when wet, making it a great choice for clothing. These particular overalls include a number of features to enhance comfort and practicality. In addition to the dual front zipper, these overalls feature full-length side zippers for easy on and off. Additionally, the elastic suspenders are adjustable to provide for a custom, comfortable fit.
