The ladybug is a symbol of luck. This design made in bright shades of enameling, was inspired by the styles of the court jeweler to the Tzar of Russia (1846-1920). The court jeweler renowned for his artistic jeweled eggs made this jewelry for the Tsar to give to his wife the Tsarina.
