This vintage 9 carat ring has a lovely design to it. The sapphire is approx 5 mm while the overall setting measures 10 mm approx. The wide band features a filigree pattern to the shoulders and the cluster has the appearance of a flower. It sits 9 mm tall on the finger and is claw set.
The stamp is hard to make out now - you can see the CT but the 9 has rubbed away with wear, but it tests as 9CT gold.
It is around 40 - 50 years old and is in excellent condition.
Sapphire is the birthstone for September and it is also lesser known that the Sapphire is the stone associated with the 45th wedding anniversary!
