The 2015 John F. Kennedy $1 Coin Cover is a special set containing two Presidential $1 coins with circulating finishes mounted on a display card and held inside a postmarked envelope.

This set features on John F. Kennedy $1 Presidential Coin from the first day of production at each U. S. Mint facility - March 5, 2015 - Philadelphia Mint and March 3, 2015 Denver Mint
 
The coins are mounted on a display card inside a envelope with a U. S. Red, White, and Blue Forever Stamp.  The Cover also features a portrait of President Kennedy, and the postmark of July 16, 2015, Brookline, MA which was the day the John F. Kennedy $1 Coin Cover was issued by the U. S. Mint

The John F. Kennedy $1 Coin Cover is a limited edition - only 35,00 was produced.

Of Irish decent, John F. Kennedy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on May 29, 1917.  John F. Kennedy graduated  from Harvard in 1940 and entered the Navy.  He became a Democratic congressman upon his return from World War II, advancing in 1953 to the Senate.  Kennedy married Jacqueline Bouvier on September 12, 1953.  In 1955, while recuperating from a back operation, he wrote Profiles in Courage, which won the Pulitzer Prize in history.  On November 22, 1963, barely past his first thousand days in office, Kennedy was assassinated as his motorcade wound through Dallas, Texas.
