This kit is ideal for anyone wanting to carry out the popular bike carb modification as an alternative to the old weber twin 40 style conversions. Bike carbs offer excellent performance, reliability and fuel economy when compared to the weber alternatives. These conversions are very popular in both modified and kit car circles and provide a low cost, simple power upgrade not to mention a fantastic soundtrack!
All danST supplied carburettors undergo a comprehensive inspection, strip, ultrasonic clean and rebuild process as required. Every set of carburettors are run on our dedicated test rig to ensure smooth idle and transition to higher RPM (see our youtube channel for running examples). We provide the carbs with base settings (and necessary jets) to allow you to get your engine up and running/driving. However these settings are only approximate and it is therefore essential that the carb jetting is set up by a competent engineer/mechanic using the necessary wide band AFR equipment (ideally on a rolling road) to avoid engine damage.

All of the above are 37mm diameter carbs and will support power levels up to 175bhp and are ideal for an 1800/2000cc engine in standard and mild levels of tune. This size of carburettor have been proven to offer better torque characteristics than larger 40mm carbs on such engines and are therefore ideal for a road and occasional track use. The manifold is manufactured from high quality aluminium with a precision Water Jet cut 10mm thick flange and TIG welded 45mm (Outside Dia) runners with a 3mm thick wall. All internal joints are fully ported/ground to ensure a smooth flow.
The NODIZ Pro ignition ECU and loom kit is the perfect way to control your engines ignition system. The ECU uses inputs from the standard engine crank sensor and throttle position sensor (supplied on the carbs) to produce a 3D, engine load driven ignition MAP. The ECU will power your standard Zetec wasted spark type coilpack and can be fine tuned to maximise the power and torque of your engine throughout the rev range. The standard MAP will be loaded onto the ECU prior to dispatch and will get your Zetec up and running ready for final tuning.
