They come taped to a piece of heavy cardboard to maintain the proper spacing.
These ties are pre-stained and have an exceptionally realistic appearance.
Scale size is 6" x 8" to match what was used on the D&RGW and the RGS.
These sets are based on the Fast Tracks ® number 6 template, except that all the ties (except the two switch stand ties) are 1 scale foot shorter than shown on the Fast Tracks ® template. This is because the Fast Tracks ® template shows 7 ft. regular ties, while the D&RGW used 6 ft. (Note that the D&RGW did not use number 6 switches on the narrow gauge.)
