This is a fantastic and rare antique French electric candelabra wall sconce with brass grape clusters, leaves, wheat, and both brass and milk glass flowers. This item is stunning and quite unique. I've seen French altar candelabras (for taper candles) in the same motif with the grape clusters, flowers and wheat, so this might have been part of a matching set from a church.

Currently, the candelabra arms look lopsided because one side has a deeper bend than the other, but it can be bent back into the desired shape with a little force. Also, the arm can pivot where it attaches to the wall plate (a bolt goes down through the middle of the arm and is slightly loose). If there is a way to tighten that bolt, the arms would be held more firmly in place. It looks like it was made to be electric, but is an early lamp, probably from the early 20th century. The cord looks nearly new and all sockets work. All of the flowers, leaves, and grape clusters are intact, but one piece of wheat is missing (just to the left of the first socket on the left arm). A few of the decorative brass flower centers that attach the flowers to the stems are missing and have been replaced with small hex nuts. The candelabra is otherwise complete. The wall plate has screw holes in it for wall mounting (screws not included).

The sconce measures 47" L x 14" H. Bulbs are included and will be shipped with the sconce. It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
