The number of cleans is determined by how dirty the SDLT tape drive is. The Imation SDLT Cleaning tape will clean SDLT220, SDLT320, SDLT600 and DLT S4 drives of any brand, or for use with drives using SDLT1, SDLT2 or DLT S4 tapes.
