EXQUISITE ORIGINAL SIGNED WATERCOLOUR STUDY OF WILD FLOWERS Signed by Valerie Croker SBA HS well Known English Artist.  Valerie has been keen on natural history all her life and the chalkdowns near her Wiltshire home have particular fascination for her. She likes to show something of the environment in her watercolours where the plants, insects, birds and animals thrive, interact and rely upon one another. She studied at Maidenhead Art School and Reading University and has exhibited in London and the UK for many years: having one man shows in Henley, Bath, Maidenhead, Winchester & Wells. Her work is to be found in private collections both in the UK and abroad. She is a member of the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists, The Society of Floral Painters and recently when the journeys to and from London have become impossible, the Society of Bath Artists. She has illustrated books on folklore and the countryside. Her paintings have been reproduced on greetings cards and tableware. She was delighted to design one of the Coalport plates for the RSNC's BWA. As an artist and conservationist Valerie is able to combine her love of the Wiltshire countryside with the painting she enjoys so much.
