Digital coax (S/PDIF) to digital optical (Toslink) converter is a great unit if you have an optical connection, but have a source that outputs only in digital coax.Most computer sound cards that offer a digital output usually only have a digital coax output. This converter will enable the computer to be connected to any digital speaker system or receiver.This item is for digital signals only. Make sure your devices say digital in or out (single orange RCA connector). This item will NOT convert digital toslink to analog RCA (red and white RCA connectors).
