HARD RUBBER MOUTH PELHAM WITH CHAIN
- High-quality hard rubber pelham, a popular variety and modern alternative to Vulcanite pelhams
- Curved Mullen mouth with hard rubber coating softens the action, giving space for the tongue without collapse on the bars or real palate pressure
- Best suited for horses with enough space for a large mouthpiece, ideal for novice riders using a stronger bit for the first time due to its mild mouth action
- Designed for use with two reins; snaffle rein on the larger ring with constant contact, curb rein attached to the smaller loose bottom ring for additional control
- Small hole in the shank above the curb ring for a lip strap, correct for showing and helps keep the curb chain flat (not essential)
- Option to use roundings to join the snaffle and curb rings together for use with only one pair of reins, providing action on both mouthpiece and curb when the rein is pulled
