THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDING RADIOS WE HAVE HAD FOR A WHILE. LOTS OF CLEAR STATIONS ON BOTH AM & SHORT WAVE. EXCELLENT FULL SOUND. WE ARE INCLUDING THE AERIAL BECAUSE YOU REALLY NEED IT TO COMPLETE THIS RADIO.
AND WOULD WOULD RECOMMEND YOU CHECK THE MATCHING WELLS-GARDNER 10" SPEAKER. IT IS AN AMAZING GOOD SOUNDING SPEAKER FOR THE 1940'S.
CONDITION: WORKING CHASSIS THAT SOMEONE HAS SPENT SOME TIME WITH. NOTE SOME NEW CAPS UNDERNEATH. THE FELLOW WHO DID THE REPAIRS USED A GLUE GUN ON A FEW SPOTS .... BUT OVERALL, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WITH THE JOB HE DID.
THE RADIO HAS A NICE FULL WARM SOUND.
