THIS IS FROM A 1976 RE5.  PIPE IS IN VERY GOOD PRESENTABLE CONDITION ONCE CLEANED AND POLISHED.  IT IS VERY SOLID NO SOFT SPOTS NOTHING RATTLING AROUND INSIDE. IT HAS RUST MOST OF WHICH WILL CLEAN OFF.  I WOULD SAY OVERALL IT SHOULD POLISH UP TO A VERY SOLID 90% OR BETTER WITH SOME TINY RUST PITS. PIC#9 SHOWS SMALL DING ON THE UNDERSIDE WHICH YOU WOULD NEVER SEE ONCE MOUNTED.  PIC#2 SHOWS THE GUARD IS BENT INWARD BETWEEN THE MOUNT SCREWS WHICH IS VERY COMMON. PIC#10-#10 SHOW SOME BATTERY ACID DAMAGE TO THE PIPE. PIC#9 IT HAS EATEN INTO SOME OF THE METAL BUT STILL VERY SOILD.  PIC#10 TRYING TO SHOW HOW MUCH OF THE AREA IS EFFECTED.  YOU WOULD HARDLY NOTICE MOST ALL OF IT ONCE IT IS MOUNTED.

This part is in good used condition.  Expect normal wear for a used item of similar vintage.  Normal may include but not limited to: scratches, nicks, tiny dents, paint loss, rust, and typical wear. .  Some pictures may have me pointing out a defect with the item.
