For a number of years in the late 1980’s this was Britain top selling Fine Art Reproduction and it is easy to see why. Burton Barber often worked to a successful formula which included the sad child and the faithful pet. There were a number of artists of the mid to late Victorian period who excelled at the portraying of children and dogs, two others being Fred Morgan and Arthur Elsley. But "A Special Pleader" remains a timeless classic I say!

Dispatch
Your item will be very carefully packed and posted to you in a proper stout postal tube, complete with plastic end caps. Your print will be wrapped in acid free tissue paper to protect it during transit and you will also receive a full page of hints and tips on how to look after your artwork, a full biography of the artist, illustrated with a photograph of the actual artist, an illustrated list of some other items I may have available on your breed and an illustrated collectors CAC postcard showing Scarlett, my young Dandie Dinmont Terrier!
Whilst every possible care will be taken with the packing and dispatch of your item, I will be unable to accept responsibility for any items which are posted unrecorded or uninsured and will be posted at the buyers own risk.
