The Xpelair VX100T is an elegant 4"/100mm easy to install grill style extractor fan with a timer which can be set to run on for a preselected time period. It has a single speed setting which is operated by a remote switch, usually a lighting circuit. The fan can be set to overrun for a time period from 30 seconds to 30 minutes so that it continues to clear the air for a period after the remote switch has been turned off. This is useful for continuing to clear air from rooms which build up a lot of steam/moisture. It is suitable for a wide range of applications including bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets. The fan has an IPX4 rating and meets Building Regulations Part F for bathroom installations and can be installed in the more challenging conditions of zones 1 and 2 of the bathroom. To suit different installation conditions the fan can be fitted either into the wall or into the ceiling. It's finished in a cool white corrosion free material to blend unobtrusively into most environments. Performance: Powered by an AC motor the air extraction performance of the VX100T fan is a busy 20 l/s (20 litres per second) or 73m3/hr (73 cubic metres per hour) and with a Specific Fan Power of 0.78W/l/s. Electrical power rating: 16 Watts. Dimensions: The VX100T face plate is 150mm square and the protruding height is just 15mm from the wall or ceiling. Behind the faceplate the fan requires a fitted depth of 75mm to accommodate the rear central spigot diameter of 98mm. It fits standard duct sizes of 4"/100mm.
