Under the stewardship and presidency of H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, Monaco's long dance tradition of the Russian Ballet ('Ballet Russe') continues. The three Monte Carlo-based organizations, Compagnie des Ballets de Monte Carlo (established in 1985), the Monaco Dance Forum (est. 2000), and the Princess Grace Academy were amalgamated in 2011 into one umbrella group, with guidance from the world famous choreographer, Jean-Christophe Maillot.
