I bring you for sale the first edition of Booth Tarkington’s first published book:

This book is in good used condition, with minor spotting and wear to the outside cover.  The inside binding is secure and all pages are intact and unmarked with the exception of pencil markings on the inside back cover.  This book is a hardback book with green cloth pictoral boards.  It measures approximately 8” x 5½” with 384 numbered pages.   

This is a true first printing with all first print points matching:

·         “eye” as last word in line 12, page 245

·         “so pretty” in line 16, same page

·         “brainy bumps” in line 7, page 291

·         “brain of Zeus” in line 23, page 342
