This listing is for a beautiful and classic opal cluster ring set in 10 carat yellow gold.
This ring is quite old, but you can still make out the 10 carat hallmark on the band.
I think it could date back to the Victorian or Edwardian era, but it's difficult to be sure as there is no date hallmark on the ring.
The cluster is approximately 15 mm in diameter, and is beautifully set in 10 carat gold. The stones are claw set, but they are quite flat, and it's a very smooth surface to the top of the ring.
The opals are white, but with flecks of colour through them. One opal has a small chip, and one has a small crack. I have tried to show these in close up photos, but due to the age of the ring this is fairly normal, and the stones are all still very securely set.
The ring is hallmarked for 10 carat gold and is ring size P 1/2 but it would be sizeable up or down 2 - 3 sizes by any jeweller, or we can have this done for UK customers prior to dispatch. Please contact us for info prior to purchase if this service is required.
