Cast Iron or Brass 2 Piece Tall Sailing Ship Fireplace Tool Holder Stand 1920's. The fireplace tool holder is believed to be made of cast iron or brass. This would make a great decorator piece for holding items other than fireplace tools especially in a nautical themed room. The fireplace tool holder has some bends on the tip of the boat. The tool holder holds up to five tools. The five hooks on the bottom of the stand are slightly bent but this may be done to hold the tools. The base of the fireplace tool holder is slightly difficult to mount the top piece onto but does mount.
Overall, the fireplace tool holder is in good condition. The fireplace tool holder is a great vintage item to set alongside a fireplace, new and old. Caution should be heeded when screwing the top piece onto the base.
The fireplace tool holder has no engraving, stamp, print or sticker signifying the country of origin or manufacturer/artist, thus is unknown.
