Robert Olen Butler (b. 1945), an American author, has published 16 novels and 6 volumes of short fiction, of which latter publications, A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain, won the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction. He has won numerous other awards, including the prestigious F. Scott Fitzgerald Award for Outstanding Achievement in American Literature (2013).
