 Simply bore a few holes with your ice auger...........use the saw to connect the holes ..............then remove the ice blocks with ice tongs.

This ice saw also has a sharp serrated end that works great for chipping out thin layers of ice that freeze over your hole once left unattended. 

 Blade is made of steel and measures 43" L.  Handle is 41" L.    So when in cutting position, you are at 84" overall length.
