CHEERY Vintage 20's Touching Stars Antique Patchwork Quilt ~NICE QUILTING! This beautiful cotton 20's touching stars quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with a double pink border that dates back to the late 19th century.
It measures 58" X 70" and is in very good condition, with some light age spotting mostly along the edge and no wear. There are a couple of pea-sized spots in the pink border that have eaten through the fabric -- see photos.
The quilting is SUPERB, with a clam shell design quilted throughout at 8-9 stitches to the inch.
The back is white, the front and back come together right at the edge ("knife edge"), and the batting is thin.
The EYE CATCHING DESIGN and WONDERFUL FABRICS make this vintage beauty stand out -- it would make a nice wall hanging!
