Original Watercolor Advertisement Art work title: "Floating Books"
to use in Bookstore or Even Fashion store Window Display
Artwork was from a New York City 5th Ave designer company's documents.
(We were only able to recover 6 of the original drawings, most of the others were destroyed/disposed. )
The original artwork was drawn on the construction or manila paper, protected by the plastic wrap. On the back of the art, there was another paper taped to the back, which lists the information of the setup and pricing. The work was possibly done 1962 (based on the code in the lower right corner, and the other photos/drawings from the pile of the similar works or advertisement design from the same company).
The art piece is about 17" w x 13" H. Since it was wrapped around with a plastic cover, the paper is uneven after 50 years, due to the different sensitivity of plastic and paper to the temperature. See picture. The edge of the frame and the back of the picture are tanned.
You may frame it, It is quite beautiful, Very original!
