AFPM Technology

AFPM generators, a coil wrapped around a specially designed disc and magnets faced to “N” and “S” poles are located around the coil. In Coreless type, there is no Core so that it can design with high volume density of coil wrapping and can reduce loss from cogging issue, because of eliminated cogging issue. This kind of power generating technology is therefore ideal for wind power generation because its initial operation torque (cut-in speed) is lower than the current Radial Flux Permanent Magnet (RFPM) method.
