A full sized 120 bass professional accordion, approximately 15 years old, in excellent condition. It has a double tone chamber with 5/5 sets of hand-made reeds. The treble side has 14 switches. The bassoon and clarinet reed sets are in tone chambers and are very sweet and mellow. The tremolo is tuned moderately wet and these combinations are quite powerful. The violin, cello, and celeste settings are drier and more American in style. The bass switches are all unique sounds. This instrument is designed with a low E in the bass, which is a full sixth lower than the low C of standardItalian/American accordions. It has a rich, dark and powerful sound. This accordion is quite air tight (no leaks), and is in first-rate condition, inside and out. The case is molded to the shape of the instrument and is secure and sturdy. The Morino is Hohner's top of the line accordion, after the Gola. This is like a Steinway grand piano, a big professional instrument. Because of the large bass reeds, the dimension from front to back is an inch or so greater than most accordions. Please see the pictures and see my other auctions for a similar Hohner Morino VN accordion. Thanks
