| Refurbishment for Quad ESL57 loudspeakers. We are now able to offer you a full refurbishment service on your beloved ESL57's. The Quad ESL57's are a classic loudspeaker and still able to see off many loudspeakers even today. Many are now tired and needing a proper overhaul to bring back to full specification for a very reasonable price. In conjunction with One Thing Audio (Leicester) this full refurbishment can now be purchased on ebay and the finished product will have a 12 month warranty (RTB)* on all new items fitted. Due to heavy workload it can take upto 6 weeks to complete the work. Please bear this in mind. A fully reconditioned pair of ESL57's will knock you back a staggering 4990 Euros ( Approximately £4500) from Quad of Germany which makes our price of just £1360.00 some what of a bargain. You of course need to supply the speakers but you can often pick a faulty pair off ebay for less than £300 and have them sent direct to us. Work carried out is as follows:
12 months RTB* warranty on these speakers. Mains leads supplied (not shown) Boxes and packing material can be supplied for these speakers for an additional £60 or you can buy the boxes from Quad UK and then have them sent here. Under no circumstances will we send these speakers by courier services without proper boxes. You can of course collect the speakers from us. Below are pictures in various stages of manufacture/service and the ones near the bottom are what the completed items should look like. What you see in the pictures is what you will receive. * RTB means. Return to base. In the unlikely event that something should fail within 12 months, then the purchaser would need to return them to us at own cost both ways. They would need to be returned in original packaging, so please retain just in case. We are not responsible for any import customs charges. That is your responsibility. They will of course be packaged extremely well. All out items are sent by signed for delivery to protect both the buyer and the seller. We do combine postage, so the more you buy the cheaper overall the postage will be. I can never know exactly what the costs will be to post this items abroad as I do not know what country the winning bidder may be from, so we have estimated the cost to most European countries at around £160, Terms and conditions. Winning bidders paying by Paypal will have to have signed for delivery. We accept cash on collection, bank transfers and Paypal. We expect contact within 4 working days (ebay rules, not ours) or otherwise We reserve the right to relist the item or offer to the next highest bidder. Payment expected within 4 days at the latest from auction end. If we have heard nothing from you within 4 days of auction end, we will email you a reminder stating that we will be re-listing or offering the item to the second highest bidder on the following day. Returns accepted within 14 days as long as in condition sold and in same condition as received. (Amplifier rebuilds not included).
