Is your balustrade or balcony legal?

To comply with new European legislation introduced 1st July 2014 any company supplying structural products such as juliet balconies or balustrades MUST be UKCA marked to EN 1090-1 and be able to supply their product with a declaration of performance certificate.

Many companies, particularly on EBay are still illegally selling FAKE balustrades that have not been manufactured to the new standards and as such would be condemned by building control, are in breach of Trading Standards and would be deemed a criminal offence.

Thankfully for you, DioMet are fully UKCA mark registered and approved.
