Thomas Nelson Page was a lawyer and prominent American writer of the post
American Civil War (1861-1865). Books include "Marse Chan" (1884). He had two
 silent era film credits. Served as U.S. Ambassador to Italy (1913-1920) under
President Woodrow Wilson.
