All illustrated plates present, though spotted and browned as usual. Two closed slits and corner missing from title page, edge chip to plate at p. 48 effecting some of illustration. Occasional stain or reading wear. Half title and frontispiece folded in fours, worn, and tipped in. Exposed joint at rear but binding firm. The first appearance in book form of Dicken's classic.
