THIS CAPEHART CHASSIS HAS A LITTLE LIFE LEFT IN IT. WHEN USED ON THE CAPEHART PHONO SIDE, YOU GET A VERY LOW VOLUME SIGNAL. WHEN YOU USE IT ON THE RADIO SIDE, YOU JUST GET LINE NOISE --- HOWEVER I DID NOT HOOK UP AN ANTENNA. SO I WOULD GUESS YOU WOULD CLASSIFY THIS CHASSIS AS "BARELY WORKING".
HERE ARE SOME OF THE PROBLEMS I NOTICED: THERE IS NO STATION POINTER / TUNING IS VERY STIFF AND THE STEM MAY NOT SWEEP THE ENTIRE SPECTRUM / THERE IS A COUNTERWEIGHT WHICH IS LOOSE AND WILL BE INCLUDED / AND THE STATION GRAPHIC GLASS HAS VERY FRAGILE GRAPHICS --- THEY WOULD FALL OFF IF YOU BRUSHED THE BACK SIDE OF THE GLASS.
