The Midland 18-2442 is a Center Load Magnetic Mount Mobile antenna system. The 18-2442 features a 17-7 stainless steel whip. A relief spring minimizes whip damage and the system uses a center-loaded coil for higher efficiency. The plastic coated magnetic base adheres to most vehicles and prevents rusting. Antenna comes prewired.
