What does all that technical information mean?
Most grass sellers will only give you the pile height (how tall the blades are) and maybe the total weight per metre. This isn't enough information for you, the customer, to make an informed choice on what you are purchasing and to determine if your grasses quality is up to the job.
At Ark we believe in giving you the full product infomation.
Stitch Rate - How many stitches per 10x10cm square. Fairly self explanatory. The higher the stitch rate, the less likely you are to see the backing through the grass.
Dtex - Dtex relates to blade strength. It means how much much would a blade of grass weigh if it was 10000m long. If blades were made of paper they would have a terrible dtex, of rope, terrific dtex. This grass has an exceptionally good dtex of 2200.
Grass weight - The higher the better obviously. Most sellers will only quote the grass AND backing weight. In manufacturing backing is heavier so can sometimes mask low blade quality & density. We quote both the grass and total weight seperately.
Tufts Density - How many tufts per square metre. Again the higher the better. At 50400 this range has a very high density.

Returns Information
All ARK products come with a manufacturers guarantee. In the event of product defect you can return the item to us for a refund of the original item.
You need to obtain a RNA via email before sending the product back to ensure speedy credit. However if you wish to return goods for any other reasons, please contact us with the details first.
We will NOT accept any returns or exchanges after 30 days from date of delivery - after 30 days from date of delivery, your goods will be assumed satisfactory and any claims for errors in shipment, or requests for returns and exchanges will not be accepted.
We will only accept goods returned provided they are clean, in a saleable condition, with no rips, tears or markings.
All returns are subject to the discretion of Ark Solutions.
Unless agreed by prior arrangement, all Returns and/or Exchanges are subject to a Return Shipping/Collection Fee, and a 20% Handling fee where appropriate.

Important Shipping Information
Please Note: Due to courier network restrictions some larger sizes of grass will be delivered folded and some will be rolled. It is important to roll out your grass when you receive it in order to let any creases settle. The grass will not be damaged by being folded or rolled. We can provide instructions on how to remove any creases that may remain prior to fitting.
Delivery estimates are given in good faith and we will do our very best to ensure your order arrives within the time stated. However, all delivery times are estimates only unless use of a specific timed courier service has been agreed and paid for. We advise customers to order in good time if they have tradespeople or equipment booked for fitting as unfortunately occasional delays with delivery can occur.
When ordering large quantities or heavy items such as long lengths of grass, please ensure there is provision for unloading at the delivery address. We cannot guarantee that our courier services will carry suitable handling equipment.
Our courier services are a 'to the kerb' service and as such the drivers will not be able to deliver items into gardens, garages or to other areas of the delivery address.
Delivery is as per listing if not specified it will be based on delivery address and number of Items required.
We have a standard FREE delivery option or quicker delivery services at a nominal cost.
Delivery is to England, Wales and most of Scotland using courier services (Yellow Areas).
If you live in a non standard area you will incur extra delivery charges and should contact us in advance to discuss the costs. Those areas & postcodes are:

Additional Shipping Information
We can ship to Europe including the Republic of Ireland but please contact us for exact delivery price based on your location.
Someone must be available to take delivery of your item, buyer will be responsible of any costs of re-delivery if there is no-one available to sign for the goods.
You must inform us of any access issues at the time of placing an order and also provide us with a contact number for the courier.
We always pass on any specific delivery request's (leave if not in, house down the lane etc) however we cannot guarantee these as they are out of our control.
