Description:
The Polaroid 550 is an instant back designed to hold 4 × 5 inch (102 × 131mm) instant pack films. This is not to be confused with their 545 instant sheet film backs. Introduced in 1981, this film holder is suitable for most 4 × 5 inch cameras. Fujifilm made a similar back called PA-45.

  • Marks that may be considered unsightly, though will not affect the picture
Guarantee and Returns
All items are guaranteed for 90 days.

Faulty items:
Must be returned within 90 days for a replacement/repair/refund.

Changing your mind:
We offer a no quibble refund on items within 30 days of purchase. These must be unused and in their original condition and packing. The customer is responsible for the return postage costs. Products must be shipped back to us within 14 calendar days of requesting a return via the ebay returns process.

Our ratings are adopted from the photographic catalogue 'McKeown's Price Guide to Antique and Classic Cameras'.

  • 0: New. With factory warranty.
  • 1: As new. With no factory warranty.
  • 2: No signs of wear.
  • 3: Very minimal signs of wear.
  • 4: Signs of light use, but not misuse. No other cosmetic damage.
  • 5: Complete, but showing signs of normal use or age.
  • 6: Well used. Showing signs of heavy use.
  • 7: Restorable. Minor parts missing. Refinishing necessary.
Functional Condition
All lenses, even when new, may have particles of dust that are visible that will not affect the image quality. This is certainly true for older used lenses. Our gradings indicate when lens imperfections could affect the image quality.
  • A: New. With factory warranty.
  • B: As new. No factory warranty.
  • C: Everything functioning. Recently serviced with extended warranty.
  • D: Everything functioning. Recently serviced, but without extended warranty.
  • E: Everything functioning.
