The original factory fasteners were inexpensive, black oxide, production line quality screws built-in washers. Ours are stainless steel Phillips head screws with separate stainless steel washers. Our washers have neoprene (rubber) bonded to the underside to dampen noise and vibration. 

If you are planning on participating in Concours d’Elegance events, you do not want to buy our screws as the judges will deduct points for stainless steel fasteners. However, if your car is a driver and you desire something better than original, then our parts might be perfect for you. Black painted fasteners are dull and will rust while stainless steel screws ad a little sparkle to your Corvette and will stay bright forever. 

This package includes 8 screws and 8 washers, enough fasteners to do both drivers and passenger sides. No special tools required. This is a fast and easy upgrade for your Corvette.
