I am a self taught and self representing artist. I sell my paintings in gallery shows, on my website and by appointment from my private studio in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. I also create well priced smaller paintings, works on paper, and high-quality giclee prints especially to sell on eBay. I do this because offering my work on eBay permits me to introduce myself and my work to a worldwide audience of art lovers.
I am pleased to have hundreds of savvy and sophisticated collectors. They tell me that my paintings are quite addictive. My paintings are described as raw, emotional, colorful and energetic. No doubt that they are influenced by my punk rock past. My paintings are also influenced by the work of some of my favorite artists; Basquiat, Matisse, Picasso, Dubuffet, Twombly, Gary Panter, R.A. Miller, Warhol, Pollack, Lucien Freud, Diebenkorn, Francis Bacon, etc.

“When artist Jeff Hughart, formerly Stink! of the infamous punk rock band, The Rotters, first put paint on canvas, it wasn't the result of an unexplained obsession or because God had demanded it.
