A quality trench coat from a British company that used to make trench coats for Burberry.

Brand new & made in England. 100% Cotton.

This is probably a last chance to own from new, a quality coat no longer in production.

Length: Measured at the back from the top of the collar to hem, is approx 42 inches / 106.5 cm / 1065mm.

Width: Measured just above arm pit, between the arm sleeve stitching, across the back of the shoulder blades, is approx 23 inches / 58.5cm / 585mm.

Sleeves: Measured from the seam under the collar that sits on top of the shoulder up against the neck to the cuff, is approx 30 inches / 76.3cm / 763mm.

Arms: Measured from the seam under the arm pit to the cuff, is approx 18 inches / 45.8cm / 458mm.

The Manchester Weathercoat Company was originally formed in 1978 to provide a manufacturing service to high quality brands such as Burberry, Mulberry, Daks and Aquascutum. In production the trench coat has over 120 separate manufacturing operations to produce the finished article; every single seam is pressed immediately after sewing and seamstresses hand sew the collar making this undoubtedly one of the most labour intensive coats produced today. For many years only a privileged few have enjoyed the exclusive Manchester Weathercoat brand with its distinctive check lining using over 30 years experience from manufacturing at the top end of the market.
