1883 Hawaii $1 One Dollar Silver, VERY CHOICE AU, NGC AU DET, Scarce w/ Luster.
In the opinion of the NGC grader there are some surface hairlines somewhere, and they are probably mixed in with the bag marks.  This coin still has its original swirling luster, with only the slightest wear on the highest points.  This coin presents beautifully front and back, and if hairlines are present among the bag marks, only the most careful inspection will reveal them.  A coin with substantial visual appeal for the grade!

Many notes and coins listed in this week's 7-day auction.  British and colonial coins and notes, along with French and French colonial banknotes.  An excellent assortment, including many nice notes from the Bahamas, France, and some nice British colonial coins!

2.       Shipping

a.       Domestic shipping.

                                                               i.      The shipping method and services are my discretion but please message me with any concerns or questions.  Most packages valued over $200 will include signature confirmation.  While it may be a hassle to go to the post office, it is the most secure method.

ii.      If an item is damaged during shipping, please message me first with pictures of the damage.  I mark all packages with “DO NOT BEND”, but, infrequently, damages occur. Message me first, before opening a case on eBay.  I will open a claim with the private postal insurance company.

b.      International shipping.

                                                               i.      International shipping is a delicate matter.  If your postal system loses your packages routinely, please consider an alternative arrangement.

ii.      International shipping will be fully insured using a private insurance provider.  Shipping costs before purchase are estimates only and can change once final price and destination are established.

1.       For items mailed USPS FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL, the price is determined by WEIGHT and by VALUE.  The base shipping fee is stated in each auction, but may be altered depending on weight and value.  Below is the price for insurance, effective July 6th, 2017.

e.      $401-$500 = $8.00

f.        $501-$600 = $9.50

g.       $601-$1,000= $13.50

h.      $1,001-$1,500 = $20.00

                                                                                                                                       i.      REGISTERED MAIL IS REQUIRED FOR MORE EXPENSIVE ITEMS IS AN ADDITIONAL COST OF $14.00. (MY DISCRETION).

iii.      If you prefer an upgrade to USPS Registered Mail, Fedex, DHL, UPS, please let me know before payment so that I may research the appropriate prices for that service.

iv.      The ONLY WAY I will ship to India and China is REGISTERED MAIL WITH FULL INSURANCE OR PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL WITH FULL INSURANCE.  I will not absorb the costs of lost mail to those countries anymore.  Some European countries are also on notice, and depending on  the value of the package, Registered Mail may be required.

                                                           v.      International shipping times are not guaranteed and not estimated.  I cannot control the time a package is held in customs, and how long it takes to reach its destination.  Many countries have sophisticated tracking systems and have reliable postal systems, but some do not.  Please message me with any questions about international shipping.

3.     Returns and Item Descriptions

a.     Returns are only accepted within (14) days of sale date (domestic) and (21) days of sale (International).  If shipping time is longer, then I will make exceptions if need be.

b.     Returns are only accepted if an item is damaged during shipping (picture proof required) or if the item is listed or described incorrectly.  Strict interpretation of the above clauses is followed.   Return requests for any other reason are not accepted.  Please ask ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS before bidding or making offers.

                                                              i.      Certified coins and currency are by default described correctly.  They are graded by a 3rd party authentication and grading company (PCGS, PMG, NGC, etc).  They may only be returned if they are damaged during shipping.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

ii.      Raw coins or currency are imaged or scanned carefully.  If an image is not clear, PLEASE MESSAGE ME BEFORE BIDDING / OFFERING.  PLEASE HAVE ALL THE DETAILS YOU NEED BEFORE PURCHASING.

iii.      Autographs and autographed items come with 3rd party certification in most cases (JSA, PSA, BGS, SGC).  They are only able to be returned if they are misrepresented in some way.  Condition of the item itself is not a condition for return.  Vintage items have age, creases, dents, wear, fading, etc.  No signed item will be “MINT” unless described as such.  It is virtually impossible to obtain an autograph on something and have it remain perfectly flawless.  It just does not happen.  Most, if not all photographs listed will be small creases or dings that do not distract from the appearance – but are part of the process of acquiring an autograph.  Again, if a glaring conditional defect exists, it will be mentioned in the specific item description.

1.     Autographs sold without authentications are low in value and do not warrant the added cost of paying for authentication.  However, they are 100% guaranteed to pass JSA, PSA, BGS, or SGC.  If for some reason they fail the authentication process, proof of submission is required, and a 100% refund will be issued, plus the authentication fee (proof of submission is required).
