- Description: Offering a 2007 Jefferson’s Liberty US gold coin. This coin has been graded MS69 by PCGS. The obverse of the coin features a bust of a lady with flowing hair and reads “3rd Presidency, 1801-1809.” The reverse features a memorial to the third president and reads “Here was buried Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of American Independence, of the statute of Virginia for religious freedom, and father of the University of Virginia, Born April 2, 1743, O.S., Died July 4, 1826.” This coin, designed by Robert Scot, Phebe Hemphill, and Charles Vickers, was minted at West Point, is 26.5mm diameter with a reeded edge, weighs 15.55g, and contains 1/2oz of 99.9% fine gold.
